Volunteer to Help in Sunday Morning Worship

Sunday worship is the work of a community to honor God. Each Sunday morning worship service has certain roles that our volunteers serve.

• Hospitality Head - Greet people as they enter the Sanctuary and provide assistance. This position requires some training.

• Door Greeters - Welcome people as they arrive and help with directions.

• Liturgist - Help lead the worship service with the pastors by leading prayers and reading scripture. You will receive the scripture to practice a few days before Sunday.

• Chancel Steps Message - Give a message for children of any and all ages. You’ll receive the theme of Sunday’s worship to prepare your message in the week prior.

• Communion Help:  Once every 3 months, on the first Sunday of the month, be in charge of setting up and cleaning up communion materials.  

• Coffee & Conversation Host - Arrive before the worship service to make coffee and set out or provide treats for people in the Heritage Room. Click here to sign up.

Please sign up wherever you feel called. You’ll be put scheduled with a rotation team. If you need to switch with someone, just contact the church office.
